Our friends Leonard & Sondra gave us tickets to the St Louis RV show so on Saturday morning we headed out to St Louis. We got there just as they were opening. We really aren't in the market for a new RV just yet....... 
But it never hurts to look. We did see a few that we liked ... some of the floor plans were great. Loved the "entertainment centers" this actually takes the big window out of the back but there were huge windows on the sides... put that on our list of likes. There was also one that had a full side super slide. Not sure we liked that. After wandering around for a few hours we met Leonard & Sondra and had dinner. *Won't see them again until we camp with them in May. Good luck to Leonard with the job.
Monday (Martin Luther King Day) we headed to Springfield because we had awesome coupons.
--First was Kohl's & Target. Bought a few items. Cat litter because we can't get the same kind here. Sherman will be happy.
--Bass Pro-- if you bought anything you got 500 reward points. YEA... so we got $10.00 DVD on Dutch oven cooking because we are always looking at it. (thought real hard about that can cooker thing--but didn't get it).
--Then on to Camping World -- we had received a sale flyer that had a $50.00 coupon in it. IF you listened to a sales pitch. (I can listen all day long-- know what I want soooooooooooo) So walk into Camping World and three of the people come over to say hello by name (think I have made an impression?) and I told the salesman that I would like to see the toy hauler on the lot. Looking for a friend. Took pictures of it for the friend. **yet he complains because it isn't in his driveway** Got my $50.00 coupon and bought a tire lock and water filter. Both items were on sale and we paid $14.00. Found out how much they charged to top off the propane tanks. We have to bring the Pod down to have the roof and a general check up before it goes out of the one year warranty. That will be mid March. Very antsy for camping season to get here!Till next time!!!
